I'm not very excited about working out today, but seeing everyone's comments from yesterday is encouraging. Not sure what I will do today, but I will think of something. Have a wonderful day all and let us know what you did.
GO GIRL! It was so hard for me to get out of bed this morning, but I did and I feel good now that I exercised. I completely feel your pain. One of the problems, is that the results are so slow in coming that it is hard to stay motivated. In my head, I'm thinking, "Hey! I worked out 4 days this week, why don't I look like Jennifer Aniston yet?" Don't forget that God loves you for the woman you are today. He already knows you are exhausted and dreading the work. He wants you to come to him for the strength you need to face your challenge.
Man, I thought I was reporting in late today, but I guess everyone is having a slow day except Mama Chick. Just finished my exercise for the day. Decided to have a little fun and do Wii Fit. Although it wasn't that much fun doing hula hoops right after dinner, and I have no coordination doing the step aerobics. But I rotated them with strength training and Yoga. The time went pretty fast. However, I don't advise doing the body test at the end. I don't usually do that, but I don't usually work out 4 days in a row either. The results were worse than last time :(
I know... Just ate dinner, late in the day, etc. But still I was hoping. Not going to be discouraged--not for too long anyway.
Well, my parents came into town today. On any other day, I would have not just worked out... too busy! But, not today. I came home, got them settled in and then went for a run around the neighborhood. Brooke and Ava came over a little while later and joined the whole family, plus dogs, on a walk. I was planning on cooking another amazing dinner out of our new cookbook, but we got an invitation to head into town, with more family, and eat at Chuy's. Who can pass up Chuy's?! Not the Scott's. I'll just try my meal another night.
My mom wants to try the Wii Fit, so we'll probably create a character for her tomorrow. Fun times!!! She's a member on this site, but didn't know how to blog. So, we had a crash course tonight and you'll probably be hearing from her soon.
I'm with Hot Mama on the balance tests. My Wii Fit age on Tuesday was 27, then on Wednesday it was 39. Oh well! You win some and you loose some!
I think I have had toooo much exercise this week!! I am so tired! Yes, I agree about the body tests on the Wii Fit. Last night it informed me that my weight had gone up since the last time. That is nice, exercise 4 days and I weigh more!!! Is that the way it should go???? I did not even find out my age, I just turned it off. Anyway, on to today, I met a friend at the park and got my 30 min. in walking and enjoying the nice weather with my girls!
I'm the wife of a wonderful man, and the mother of four wonderfully active boys. Life is full and busy. If I'm honest, I should throw in crazy as well. But now it's time to put me higher up on the list.
