Hello.....Anyone Out There!?

This is how I've been feeling since Saturday. (Small pity party. OK. I'm over it.) I was really hoping to gather some good feedback over the weekend before kicking off March on Sunday night. (How else are we going to hold each other accountable?)

I've finally heard back from the original Go Girls. After all they agreed to doing the 5x/week for 4 weeks before this was a blog thing so I felt comfortable pressing them for info. Here are the results:

Mama Chick--Completed 4 weeks successfully Yeah!
Hot Mama--Completed 4 weeks successfully
Cutie Pie--Completed 3 weeks successfully
Hot Stuff--Completed 3 weeks successfully
Hip Mamasita--Completed 2 weeks successfully

(note: a successful week=5 days of 30 min (or more) of exercise. Some may have only done 4 days. It does not mean that they didn't exercise the whole week.)

Good job to all the Girls. It is not easy to squeeze it in. Do not. I repeat, Do not beat yourself up for not getting all 4 weeks. You can not go back in time and fix it. So stop thinking about it!

If you are not on this list, Please leave a comment with how many successful weeks you had. Maybe at the end of March we will have 10 Girls comfortable enough to report in. We are stronger as a team!

The Good News....March is a Restart (this was suppose to be Monday's post, but now I'm combining things)

Time to keep moving! We are on week one of March. If you missed the start of this blog saga or need to refresh what you are doing go here but, change the month to March. Also check here.

I'm excited to restart! Hope you are too!

(side note--if these linky things work, I'm pretty impressed with myself. fingers crossed!)

  1. Way to go Girls. The fact that I completed anything is a good start:) No, actually, I am obsessed with finishing things I start. I was worried about getting too fixated on exercising this time. I am proud of myself for focusing on the goal of 30 minutes/day for 5 days and not worrying about much else.
I did not get a workout in yesterday though.
TOday I got my 45 minutes in this morning, by doing intervals of the treadmill/weights/elliptical/weights/bike.

    Yipee,

Hip Mamasita.....walked home today. I have started the week off well. Two days in a row I have made the trek home from work.

Thanks for the motivation and the accountability!

    Go girls!!

  3. Wow! I am very impressed with everyone. Way to go for Hot Mama and Mama Chick!!! All those kids and still getting it in every day! Very impressive.

Today is an off day for me, although I wish I could count it. I haven't sat down since 8:00. I took 246 5 & 6 year olds and parents on a field trip and then worked my second job. Needless to say, i am WIPED OUT. I don't think I could say that any louder! I'll be back in the game tomorrow. Love you all!!!

  4. Talk about hard! As the minutes kept rolling by today it became harder and harder to fit 30 of them for exercise. I did turn down going to the store to score some coupon deals. But I somehow managed to get my exercise done. Of course I spent over 30min trying to justify not doing my time. Finally good won out. Yeah, 2 days under my belt!

  5. I totally feel you Hot Mama, I feel like I spend so much time trying to talk myself out of exercising and then talking myself back into exercising. If I spent that much time working out I would be running marathons!

My count for February is 2 weeks (I think), which while that doesn't satisfy my perfectionist personality is way more than January, and leaves plenty of room for improvement in March.

Today (Tuesday) I did a core class, and now I'm going to bed so I can get up and get to the gym again.

  6. I really don't know what my count for Feb was. Before you all started Go Girls I thought working out 3x time a week was good. But no!! You ladies want 5x a week. Ick! I've already missed two of my regular workout times this week. Ugh! So yesterday afternoon I tried to get back into the game and walked at the park. Usually I have one of my dogs with me but this time I didn't and the walk seemed even longer since one of them usually distracts me. The good news is that daylight savings time starts this weekend so I've already told hubby he's going to help me walk the dogs at night because it will be light outside. I love spring!

In other news...look at this! It's an energy drink just for us!
