That's what I did today--I went above and beyond. I don't usually toot my horn, but I can't help it today. I met Hot Stuff at the Y as usual. We finished treadmill. As I was going to get some paperwork to finish another home school mom invited me to do pilates. At first I said no, but then I thought about sitting in the lobby doing work. I decided to go. And I'm glad I did! It was challenging, so it must be working something. I think I will try it again next Friday. 35min on the treadmill and a bonus 50min of pilates.
Then I had Haagen-Dazs with the boys for snack! Maybe that is why I'm not getting rapid results :)
Have a good weekend!

WOW! I'm really proud of you Hot Mama! It's fun to try new things.
ReplyDeleteI'm still out of the work out world. I hope to be back in the game soon, SLOWLY!
I haven't been on the blog in a few weeks but that doesn't mean I haven't been exercising. I have been working on yoga/pilates more and flexability. Also have been going to Lifetime a couple times during the week.
ReplyDeleteJohnny, Cosmo and I went to the park today and walked, it is such a beautiful day you have to be outside.
Saturday my friend Barbara & I went to Warrenton so there was lots of walking done there.
Hope everyone has a good week.
Corey, hope you are feeling better, take it easy getting back to working out. Listen to your doctor.
This is Monday's post. Last week was one to forget and move on. I was hoping to do better in March than Feb, but it doesn't look that way, although I think I'm being harder on myself now - I'm not satisfied with just taking the dog for a walk with Matt, I want ME time for exercise.
ReplyDeleteToday I went to a cardio-kick class and felt really good. I can tell I'm in better shape cardio-wise. So that feels awesome!
Hope everyone is starting their week of on a good note!
Well I fell through the cracks this past week partly because my Tues-Thurs AM workout partner skipped out on both days. But Friday Korey and I head to Fredericksburg where we conquered Enchanted Rock. That was a solid hour of stair step to the extreme. And then once you get to the top the view was awesome! On Saturday we spent 4 hours walking through F-burg to shop. So at least I was doing something over the weekend!
ReplyDeleteAfter 2 weeks off from being out of town and sick kids, I headed back to the gym yesterday. I did complete Race for Grace last Saturday, somewhere near the middle of the walkers. Hot Stuff kicked my butt on speed, she is a machine! Finished my 30 minutes Wednesday and THursday and even squeezed in Level 1 of 30 day Shred this afternoon. I feel like I am totally starting over.
