Friday night I finished my mini version of 30 Day Shred. I turned it into 7 Day Shred. Talk about tough. I was sore everyday, but no pain no gain. I'm not sure I shredded anything other than sweat and frustration, but I feel accomplished. The truth is that by day 6 and 7 I could see some improvement in my ability and endurance. I would encourage any of you to try and make a mini goal that REALLY pushes you out of your comfort zone.
Now for this week. Spring Break is over and I will be heading back to the YMCA today. Maybe I will crank it up a notch. Maybe.
I know many of the Go Girls had challenging weeks last week with spring break plans that they chose or in several cases didn't choose (funeral, family member operation, etc). I will be praying for you all to get back on track and have a successful week.

Today was a great start to my week. I tried the Biggest Looser Power Sculpting DVD and loved it. I enjoyed doing the weights. It was very different than doing cardio. Kind of a nice change. This DVD was instructed by Jillian, so sorry Hot Mama, you may not like it :)
ReplyDeleteI took a furry treadmill out to the park and back through a neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteMonday I took the dog for a walk and Tuesday I did a cardio/weight class at LT. Today will be an off day because I work day shift and then we are meeting friends to watch Lost. Not sure how working out is going to fit I'm if I ever get moved to day shift for good. Hope everyone is having a great work out week!
